Improvise this
Well, I think many of you....some of you...maybe two of you? AT LEAST one of you know that I particpate in the kick ass Improv team at my high school. This year, they split it into beginning and advanced improv, and I am a member of the two teams that make up the latter. We're a long form focused group, we do games almost soley for warm ups.

Anyway, I digress. This team of ours is actually performing this year, at a really neat coffee house in the uptown area (hippie/beatnik/people with weird hair ville ;) ) and I was out of my mind with nerves last night as our first show rolled nearer. there were...four other acts, I think. The one right before intermission was the other CDH team, and the one right after was our team, and I thought I was going to be sick when the lights went down for the first act.

Long story short though, both of our teams KILLED! The other long-form improv group, a bunch of professionals actually, was raelly good. But honestly, I think our team got more laughs. The first stand-up guy beat us all, but hey. I can take it.

I even got quoted by the host of the show. Safari-Donalds, eat there now!

XD super exhilarating! I can't wait for the next show! There's nothing more theraputic then laughing, or making people laugh.

Next Monday, the 15th, from 7:30 ish to 10:00 ish. I believe it ran a little late, and perhaps started a little early, but you know, that's a close estimate ^^

Cost is $2.00, and if you'd rather not pay anything I'll pay for you to get in!

The Beat Coffee House is on 1414 W 28th ST. If you drive straight down Hennepin in Uptown, you can't miss it really.

It would be so cool if you came! There were six acts in all last time, and four were great, one was pretty good, and one...well, I won't lie, it was terrible. He forgot all his material, except for the jokes where he called all the deities in the world incredibly vulgar names. He had a list. He was really awful, but he only went on for ten minutes, and everyone else was good. Other than him, the show was hysterical, so it's good entertainment with the threat of one or two not so good acts ^^

To end this very long reply, only one CDH team will be performing next monday. Either Erin's team, or mine. The team that DOESN'T perform next week, will perform the week after, on the 22nd at the same time and place.

Alright, any questions? XD Please come! I need to tell my coach I recruited someone who isn't my parent or a fellow performer! lol.

I wish I could watch a show, but I don't know how to get there between cross country and all... Go figure that the season ends just three days after your last show! :(
