First Day of School
The First Day is never fun. Ever. Evereverevereverever.

First, I didn't have a homeroom! No kidding, and that's where we were supposed to spend the first hour! I went to where it SAID I was supposed to be, but they didn't have my schedule, so they sent me down two levels to the office, and after waiting ten minutes for someone to talk to they had no clue what was up either and sent me back UP the two floors to my sister's homeroom, because we got split up, to see if I was in there. But they didn't have my schedule EITHER so they sent me back down and finally I got a nice lady who just printed of my schedule and gave me my new locker combo.

So I went to my first class, because by now homeroom was over anyway, but when I got there it was empty, and I had to ask around until I found out we were at a prayer service (it's a catholic school, gotta pray! All the time! Praying is GOOD *crazy laughter*) So after I got back from the service I had to go back to study hall, pick up my stuff, go back up a level and find my locker, and then try about five times to get the damned thing open because they've all got really complicated new locks. But finally it's done and over and everything's peachy keen fine-and-dandy...except I don't have my student planner yet.

The rest of the day is alright, except most of my morning class I don't have any friends :P and i finally get my daily planner when I get to English, which has the teacher who lost my schedule and started the whole homeroom fiasco. But she's awesome, so I forgive her.

After school, and a meeting about QB/KB, I walked home. I HATE walking home, but I don't have my liscense yet and my parents can't pick me up. So I walk home, and on the way, just to wrap up my first day, there's the cutest little mouse sitting on the sidewalk just shaking and not moving. I look in and I see it's leg has been all torn up! But I can'r pickit up because of a) blood and b) it might bite or be diseased so I have to just LEAVE IT! Leave a poor suffering mouse just sitting on the sidewalk! I feel so cruel!

yeah, well, that was my first day bacl at school. yaaaaaay. In other news, thanks for stopping by Jeff, Biscuit God, I hope you liked the tacos ^^

Well, your first day was eventful, at least. My day is going from bad to still bad. In fact, I've been doing rather badly for a while now. So whatever! Sorry you had to stumble upon that mouse, and the staff screwed it up for you. Tomorrow will get better.

Mmm, movies... I watched DaVinci again a couple days ago with Beth. Remember her from Philosophy? She leaves for college today. :sigh:

Things always look up, typically with you guys. If we could hang out for the shortest time after school someday, it would be great.

Of course we'll hang out after school some time! Come on, don't be so glum, life's not that bad! You could be having missiles fired at your home!

You should have stepped on, and crushed, the mouse. Or at least I would.

Well, have fun with you new school. I'm at ASU (Arizona State University) now, but everything has been going well, despite the new environs.

nooo! I couldn't kill it, even though that's probalby the best thing to do! I guess I'm just one of those wimps that feels bad even when she kills an ant intentionally ^^;

I feel bad when I kill innocent ants too. However, I work for the greatest good, so I would merely vomit or something after sqwushing the mouse. But it would rest easier on my conscience on the days after.

But then again, I am really, really susceptable to feeling guilt over not doing the best thing, however horrible it might be. I have a huge motivation to know I have done what was the best choice, however gory it might be. Otherwise it would haunt me for months.

*sigh*

Now I feel mildly ill.
